Combined shipping discounts need the following:
These two listings won't combine correctly, the services offered do not match up. Also, weight is 8 oounces, FCM won't apply for more than one.
If you select your shipping services correctly and in the same order, if you set up insurance correctly, and if you set up your discounts shipping rules correctly, the combined shipping discounts will work, it will DO what you tell it to do.
If you mix things up, the combined shipping will mix things up....just like you told it to do.
- All items must have the same shipping option, such as calculated or flat rate. You can't have one widget with calculated cost and another with flat rate cost and expect them to be combined AND discounted.
- All items must have the same shipping services offered, --AND--
- All items must have the shipping services displayed in the same order. You can't have Parcel Post/PM/UPS on one listing and PM/UPS/Express on another. You can't put 2 widgets in one box and ship one widget via PP and ship the other via PM.
- All items must have a minimum weight of 1 pound. Items under 13 oz can go FCM, over 13 oz can go PP or PM. Two widgets at 10 oz each = 20 oz which no longer qualifies for FCM.
- All items must have the same insurance option/requirement. How can you insure one widget and not another? You don't insure the widget, you insure the package.
- All items must have the same shipping discount rule selected.
